Do I have to register my silks with the New York Jockey Club?
Unless you plan on racing in New York, you are not required to register your jockey silks or have your design approved by the New York Jockey Club. However, if you do plan to race in New York, your silks design and color combination must be approved by and registered with the New York Jockey Club.

Can you help me with my New York Jockey Club registration?
Yes, we are happy to contact the New York Jockey Club and handle the application and registration process for you. We have worked directly with the Jockey Club for decades and are well versed in the rules and regulations of the New York Jockey Club as well as the application and registration process. The fee for us to handle this process on your behalf is $25.00.

Can I receive fabric samples/swatches before I place my order?
You can request fabric samples by contacting us at 1-800-227-4557, by email at sales@dalyssilks.com or by clicking on the Request Fabric Sample tab at the top of our website homepage, www.dalyssilks.com. Please be sure to indicate the type of fabric and specific colors you would like to receive. Reference the Color Samples page on our website for a list of available fabric colors.

Can you help me design my jockey silks or custom logo?
We are happy to assist you with your jockey silks design process from concept to completion. You can either send us artwork or design ideas that you already have, or you can work with our artists to create an original design from start to finish.

What is the standard production time for a jockey silks order?
The standard production time for one set of jockey silks is approximately two weeks. This time can vary depending on the time of year you are placing your order. If you require your silks or other items sooner, we offer an expedited service for an additional fee. The production time for blankets, blinkers, saddle towels and other horse apparel varies depending on the quantity ordered. Please contact us for specific production time information.

Can I have my order rushed?
We offer an expedited rush service for an additional fee. You can have your jockey silks (or any other item you order) completed and shipped within as little as 24 hours. Any jockey silks order that is required in less than the normal production time of two weeks is considered a rush order. The fee for jockey silks rush orders varies depending on the required production time. Additional expedited or overnight shipping fees will also apply.

The fees for our expedited service for jockey silks are as follows:
24-48 hour production time: $150.00
1-week production time: $125.00
10-13 day production time: $100.00

Can jockey silks designs be trademarked?
Specific jockey silks designs and/or color combinations cannot be trademarked. Additionally, if you would like to use a trademarked logo on your silks that you do not own, you must have written permission from the individual, company, team or organization to do so.

Do my jockey silks have a warranty or guarantee?
Daly’s Custom Racing Apparel is proud to be the only silks manufacturer in the industry to offer a lifetime guarantee on the construction of our jockey silks. *This warranty covers the stitching and assembly of your silks for as long as you own them. The guarantee does not cover the fading of fabric, damage caused by use, washing or wear and tear, or errors made by the customer when placing the order.

My silks are a little worn out from use or have been damaged, can I send them in to be repaired?
We are happy to repair, to the best of our ability, any damaged silks you send us. Once we receive your silks, we will contact you to discuss the cost of the repair and the production time required to complete the repair.

When will my credit card be charged for my order?
Your credit card is charged the full invoice total of your order on the day the order is placed. Any orders that are paid for by check will be completed once your check has cleared.

Do you have any stock/pre-made silks that I can purchase?
Occasionally we have some brand new silks in stock that are available for sale at discounted prices. These silks are usually orders that were cancelled after the silks had already been made. The color and designs of pre-made silks vary. Please contact us for the current list of available pre-made silks in our inventory.

I am a new horse owner, what else do I need in addition to jockey silks?
Your needs will vary depending on several factors, like how many horses you have, the weather where your horses are stabled, if you race in multiple locations and the equipment your trainer might already have, etc. For starters, we recommend getting more than one set of jockey silks if you have multiple horses or plan to race at more than one racetrack. It is also a good idea to order blinkers for your horse(s)in the event they require them. We suggest also considering the type of horse blankets your thoroughbred will need throughout the changing seasons. We are happy to help guide you through the process if you are new to horse racing or are unsure of your exact equipment needs. If you would prefer, we can work directly with your trainer to determine what equipment you require. All of our products can be made to match and coordinate perfectly to your colors and custom logo or lettering.

Can my order be sent directly to my trainer or the racetrack?
When placing your order, you can indicate where you would like your items sent. If you would prefer, we can ship directly to your trainer or to any racetrack.

Do you accept international orders?
We are happy to accept orders from international customers. We require payment by credit card only for all international orders. Standard production time applies to international orders. However, please allow additional time for delivery.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept money orders and checks. Production will begin on orders paid for by credit card within two weeks of the date the order is placed, unless it is a rush order. Production will begin on orders paid for by money order or check once the payment has cleared.
